I went to the hospital on Monday morning at 6:30am to be induced. Finally at 8:30am I was all set up and given the PIT. It took about an hour to get me to a 4. My contractions were a minute and a half apart so the nurse turned the drip almost all the way off. My body continued to progress quickly on it's own. The pain was a lot to handle but I was able to stay calm and breath through each contraction. I wanted to crawl in a hole and die when it was time to push. I didn't have to push long and Dirk was out. It is that moment of instant relief that I love. He was born at 11:15 am.

ohhh, buddy boy is adorable! I love his hair, and he's definitely got his own look but I think he'll turn out looking like the girls a bit more...

Congratulations!! I'm am glad you are going to be out there again. I really can't believe we are going, but it will be a lot of fun. We are going to be a freak show everywhere we go with all the kids we all have. HAHA. It's going to be fun!!

cassi i can't believe you are so brave and can do it all natural! even with PIT! thats amazing! Dirk is the cutest lil thing :) i love his hair, his lips, and his prefect skin tone! I dunno if carli told you about how i've wanted to name my next son Dirk (i was so excited when i heard you were naming yours that!), but since we already have a Nash my hubs thinks its silly (steve nash and dirk nowitski are like best friends and used to play on the same team). So i will have to live the name through you :) haha! i just love it! congrats again, he's simply prefect!

cassie he is sooo cute! You are such a trooper:) I would have to say that going natural is really hard..but it was the best experience ever. I do not think I will ever have the epidural again. Anyway he is just so dang cute! CONGRATS

I haven't checked your blog in forever! I didn't even know you were pregnant! Congrats, that boy is adorable! Love all the hair. You have such a cute family. Just speaking for myself, I think that 3 is easier than 2. I can have the older two play together and then I can focus on my baby. It is so much fun. Good luck
